Once an armorsmith, this pony with a talent for finding hidden things rose to become the first – and only – mortal ruler of the Crystal Empire. She ruled when the Empire was in a depression, but was still largely well-liked despite the downward spiral of her isolated northern kingdom. However, her position cost the mare her own life at the hooves of her dark successor. To the very end, she wanted only to protect her ponies, and would do so even from beyond the grave…

I’m a far better writer than I am an artist, but I love doodling still! This is Opal Charm as she was before she became a queen: her trademark snowflake earrings, favorite bandana, and ringlets help her maintain a carefree and innocent image that only death robs from her. In life she was a pale mare with iridescent curls, and in death… well, she’s a fucking corpse. Maybe I’ll find some colored drawings of her – if I have any – and upload those.
