• Apple Flitter is the second-born and first daughter of Big McIntosh and Fluttershy. The filly was born a short while after her older brothers fifth birthday. Originally going to be named Posey Apple—Fluttershy and Big Mac changed their minds after a butterfly had landed on the foal’s nose. Granny Smith was excited that her green coat was passed down to one of her grandbabies—even if it was a great-grandbaby.

• Growing up, Apple Flitter never really had anything to worry about with her big brother always there to look after her. She often followed him around like his little shadow when he’d go out to play with Flare Blitz. The haughty pegasus colt would always try to scrape his own baby sister, Cloud Burst, onto Apple Flitter so the boys could go play but the girls refused to leave the ponies they admired the most.

• One day while she was learning how to make Zap Apple Jame with her Aunt Apple Bloom, her mother came with her Auntie Applejack and told her to get ready and pack a bag for overnight—that they were going to take a trip into town overnight. Confused, she packed her bag and along with her mother, aunt, brother, and twin cousins—the group had set off into town. Apple Flitter was amazed when they pulled up to the Castle of Friendship—she was going to be spending the night with a princess! The shy filly had followed her family closely and from between her Mama’s front legs was observing all the ponies she’d barely recognized. She recognized Flare Blitz and Could Burst with their mother Rainbow Dash… but she only knew the other adults and foals from pictures in her Mama’s photo albums.

• The shy foal sat by herself in the corner when her Mama sent her off to play in the nursery with all the other foals—but when she saw the foal she knew as Sunswirl Sparkle go sit next to Daybreak Glimmer, she felt something stir inside her. Like a guiding hoof telling her to go sit with them. Apple Flitter sat on the other side of Daybreak as all the other foals slowly but surely broke away from playing and made there was to Daybreak who started reading to him. Daring Do was one of Apple Flitter’s favorite stories but she couldn’t stop herself from drifting off to sleep.

• A couple weeks after Apple Flitter had made some of the best friends she’d ever have she awoke o her parents talking downstairs with her brother and a dirty shy unicorn filly named Berry Patch. She didn’t know much of what happened after until she got older, but soon Berry Patch had moved into the cottage. Apple Flitter tried to apply the lesson she learned at the Castle of Friendship and made sure Berry Patch was never alone at the cottage or at school—regardless of how hard the unicorn tried to keep to herself.

• These days Apple Flitter works part time at Sugar Cube Corner as a baker and when not at work she plays foalsitter to most ponies in town—running her makeshift daycare out of her mother’s cottage.

Really the only thing that changed about this gal is I tweaked her name. And her wing tips are now a mix of Bright Mac and Fluttershy’s coat color. You can’t tell because they’re so fekking similar >:V
