Fluttershy knew that her newborn foal, Soothing Breeze, would have to face challenges that nopony have ever done. She knew that because Discord was the father, this would lead to fear and outrage of her child. She knew that her baby would be hated and have to earn his ponies’ trust. She would not know of his faith, where his destiny laid. She’s doesn’t even want to think of the worst thing that would  happen to her tiny baby. Instead the best she could ever do for her son is ready him for the future ahead. She would raise him to know love, to help him steer from wrong to right, to teach him respect and kindness. She may not ever be able to shield him from harm, but the best she could do is be with him each step of the way.

Haha finally got around to writing some family stuff! ˙ ͜ʟ˙

I really wanted to address the issues of having Soothing Breeze be born. In SoothingVerse(i think i’ll be calling my nextgen that now) Soothing Breeze was probably the first to be born out of the Mane Six. Through this, lots of issues came up of this child, like to have Discord’s blood run through him was frightening to ponies cuz they were still skeptical of Discord being good. And they didn’t feel too comfortable about the “mixing” of pony and draconequus. This caused Fluttershy to stress like crazy while prego cuz she was getting alot of hate. It even got to the point where she and Discord went through a period of not seeing eachother for a while. It would’ve probably pushed her to feel like she should abort the baby and all but she still had the girls. They helped out alot by telling her not to give in and be confident with her choice. This relieved the stress and she then began to fall in love with the fact of having a baby. After realizing that she couldn’t let others tell her what to do, she quickly got back with Discord and apoligized like crazy for the fact that they separated. A few months later and poof – they had a lil’ baby boy named Soothing Breeze!
