Equestria Daily’s Artist Training Grounds continues, and we only have one week left to go after this! Today’s prompt is Draw an utterly exhausted pony / Draw a pony at wit’s end. Considering the fact that the Cutie Mark Crusaders are one of my favorite groups of characters behind the Mane 6, I’m surprised it took me this long to actually draw them. Despite Apple Bloom’s implication here, I’m not TOO tired from drawing ponies yet, but it has been an endurance run to be sure. Especially since I’m starting classes now, which might get in the way of getting these done on time. I’m so close though, and I’m definitely gonna try and get the rest of these done (homework will be a higher priority, don’t worry).

One interesting thing I discovered about the CMC doing this is that their manes are actually pretty similarly colored. They look pretty different with their variances in brightness and saturation, but their hues are actually pretty close together in the rose range. This applies to their cutie marks as well of course, giving me even more appreciation for the design of the marks, and I thought their designs were amazing since day one! These three really were destined to be together forever, weren’t they?
