the cutie mark crusaders…

that’s what they use to call themselves, at least…

like the others, the woke up in the middle of the capital wasteland. but unlike the others, they didn’t wake up near any of the settlements.

they awoke in the desolate and abandoned ruins of an old town, its skies blanketed with a thick, never-ending green fog that blockaded the area from the warmth and the light of the sun.

as brave and strong as those fillies were, they couldn’t bring themselves to move away from the town. the fear of this new land and the bone-chilling coldness of the fog made sure they would not be moving far anytime soon.

they were cold,

they were scared,

and they were alone, in a foggy hell.

suddenly, trying to earn their cutiemarks didn’t seem that important to them anymore…
