Originally I was going to try to animate something with Sai, but then realized that you need Photoshop to export animated gifs and I don’t like using online stuff (most of the time).

Eventually I found myself just looking around at the different brushes Sai offered, found a basic paper texture and started doodling away. At first I just doodled a head and a somewhat cute face and I liked how the texture made the doodle look more sketchy. After a few changes I went ahead and made Aero get a more angry expression and a puffy face and did the rest of her body with the same “sketchy” look I gave her face. I got to admit, I like this texture, I should explore and experiment with these more.
