A compilation of the sketches for the Goddess!AU I drew and uploaded via the Status feature. Some of the sketches I really enjoyed, so I figured it’d be nice to have them up in my gallery. :3 That, and it’s been a little while since I posted anything, sooooooooooooooo…. yup!

For those of you who don’t know about this AU or need a refresher, this AU is a world where god-like entities (The Divine) and mortals co-exist with one another. It centers primarily around Rarity, who summons the demigod Twilight Sparkle to help her defend Ponyville from the monsters that have been plaguing the mortal realm. But as the story progresses and the danger heightens, it becomes more apparent that it isn’t just monsters that threaten the existence of mortal and Divine alike. As for the sketchdump here, from top to bottom:

1 and 2): Both of these sketches explore a bit of the relationship Pinkie has with Rainbow Dash, Twilight, and Shining Armor. In this AU, Pinkie, Twi, Dash, and Shiny are all Divine, but whereas Pinkie’s a full-blooded goddess the other three are all demigod (half mortal half Divine). Pinkie is much older than she usually is in this AU (she’s 200 years old), and as such she was seen as a more big sister figure to the little tykes. Despite her cheery disposition, Pinkie had a hard upbringing in this AU and, given the discrimination against demigods in the Divine Realm, she is very protective of them. Also, just as an FYI, Pinkie is a Deity of Wind.

3): This sketch was exploring a little bit the design of Twi’s and Dashie’s markings, but also because I thought it’d be cute to draw them as kiddies. Twi’s about 10 here and Rainbow’s 4. Dash can’t actually fly with those wings, but she can certainly try to. Twi at this point can hover, but not outright fly yet. Dash was also really bad at keeping a shirt on when she was a baby; she’d complain that they constricted her wings. They didn’t, but she had decided that the shirts were the reason why she couldn’t fly yet. x3

4): This sketch was done at the request of some of my Tumblr watchers, who were curious about the height difference between Dash and AJ (specifically because they’re a ship in this AU). AJ’s tol and Rainbow’s smol. AJ’s about 6′7ft whereas her smol demigoddess girlfriend’s around 5’4, making her the second shortest of the bunch (Pinkie’s 5′2). Rainbow both hates and loves Applejack’s height; on one hand she’s just like “aww yiss a sexeh mountain of muscle hell yeh”, but on the other she’s just “I’m not small! You’re just too big! >:C “ Applejack has no shame in using her height to mess with RD. Also yes, in this AU Applejack lost her right eye and right arm in a terrible fight.

5): Doodles of Rainbow’s father and Twilight’s mother, both of whom are full-blooded Divine. Someone asked awhile ago about whether or not the markings on a Divine’s body could be a bit similar if they were related, and the answer is yes. So I decided to show case that a bit (as well as use it as an excuse to draw these two) by doing the headshots of Twi and RD’s Divine parents.
