Description:
Lockpicke has a sudden urge to poke the thing right in the nose, but she abstains. Instead she says,
“Yeah I’d like one order hayburgers with extra fries.”
“I’m sorry?” The face says.
“Uh, nothing. Anyway who’re you? Is Axon home? Are you Axon?” She asks.
“Huh? Oh no, I’m not Axon, just a friendly neighborhood face on a wall!” the face on the wall says, “As for master, I’m pretty sure he is home. I would have known if he had left. He usually tells me where he goes and how long he’ll be gone”
“Oh uh… I don’t suppose you could get him for me then could you?” Lockepicke asks, wondering if this was a wasted trip.
“Sure! Just give me one second.” The face says with a grin, and disappears back into the placard.
A quarter of an hour passes, and the face reappears, a bit of concern across it’s face.
“Huh, master isn’t answering and I can’t see him from any of my other windows…”
“Other windows?” Lockepicke asks with a raised eyebrow.
“Yeah, there are placards like these all over the inside of the tower.” He says with a nod, “But still… Master doesn’t ignore me when I say there is a visitor… Hmm… Strange, very strange.”
