Even though Burgeon Flare is supposedly permanently grounded from Bedlam, Ember can’t keep an eye on her all the time. As dragon lord, she is often away on royal business, leaving Spike in charge of their daughter. Spike supports Burge’s friendship with Bedlam, so he lets his daughter go see her when Ember’s not home, and she’s essentially un-grounded for the day. One of Burge’s favorite Equestrian holidays is Hearth’s Warming, so she always celebrates it with Bedlam. Here, she’s decorating Betty with pretty ornaments before they go to the holiday party at Princess Twilight’s castle. It’s a fun bonding experience for the two of them, and really boosts the Hearth’s Warming spirit too!
