I was going to wait a while to post this, but what the hell…we’re here now, and I haven’t had much to offer you guys lately.  Introducing JG’s newest nextgen, Samosa Stripes!  She’s the tiny spellborn daughter of Saffron Masala and Plaid Stripes and the little “sister” of Northern Song.  And she is here to dance like a crazy funk machine on teeny little hooves of fire.

Sam is a fine cook and may take over the Tasty Treat Too someday, but that’s a long way off; for now she’d much rather sing and cut a rug and play her music really, really loud.  She cites Northern and Aunt Lyra (her godmother) as influences for her rock ‘n roll dreams.  Saffimama is pretty strict with her shrimpy little offspring, but only because she doesn’t want to see her get hurt.  Saff doesn’t even like it when Sam tries to roughhouse with Plaidmom and Northern, but as time goes on it’s going to be harder and harder to stop her from raising a ruckus.

As for Northern, he adores his oddball multilingual Bengali/Russian-Jewish/Caterlot-Manehattan-Ponyville family and is very happy to be a part of it.  His cousin and her wife treat him like a son, and Samosa won’t let anyone say that Northern is not her brother.  He still goes home to Coltcutta to see his father often, but he prefers it when Plaid goes with him, as she is more likely to say yes to adventures.
