So I’ve gotten an idea for a new MLP fanart-thing. I don’t think it’ll evolve into a full-blown comic or anything but I’ll end up uploading scenes with fic and the like.I have a few characters that are not from Equestria (named Marelan.) The rest of the characters are all next-gen.

Parents: Princess Cadence (M) and Shining Armor (F)

Species: Pegasus

Special Talent: Botany

Occupation: Princess

Background: Amethyst feels like she lives her life in Flurry Heart’s shadow. She has always regretted the fact that she was not at least born a unicorn, and frequently wishes she had been born with magical powers, or perhaps in another family altogether. She generally spends her time tending to the castle’s gardens, though she does sell her plants and offer gardening tips to other ponies on occasion. She tends to avoid her older sister and parents as well, as she feels like a failure of a daughter.

Personality: Amethyst is depressed; she feels like a failure in comparison to her parents and her older siblings. She does not like it when the crystal ponies dote upon her, and so she spends a lot of time by herself. She has few friends, but is kind and generous to those that she does have. She loves her parents, but is convinced she disappoints them. She tries to get along with her sister, but has a tendency to feel bitter toward her.
