Artist’s description:

You can’t have an episode titled “Triple Threat” and not expecting me to throw in some wrestling reference. I mean c’mon. Everyone has that weird stuff that likes to watch, and finds understanding only among few people about it – for some it’s Dr Who, for others it’s cats videos, for me? it’s wrestling. Anyway I wish I drew that one bit better, sadly I made few wrong choices in preperation to draw, and I’m still quite tired affter really tough week at work. Hell I wanted to draw some more today, but I feel really out of it for now, so this will have to suffice

Anyway, season 7 keeps going strong, last few episodes were really fun, and Triple Threat was no exception.

Sure not as good as Perfect Pear or Fame and Misfortune – my two absolute favourites for this season so far –

but it was still really good episode.

The trio of Spike, Twilight and Starlight worked out pretty well, and it was hilarious how Ember

was pointing out the similarities between both ponies, and constantly confusing one with another.

Thorax had his moments as well, but I feel like Ember had some of the most entertaining things

happening. And yes I loved that smearing the muffin against the wall, hahah take that! Also,

didn’t expected it to be a map episode xD Anyway fun stuff, all five characters had some cool bits

from Twilight’s “chair fetish” to Ember establishing her dominance time and time again, it was pretty

cool episode, and certainly one of the more entertaining Spike episodes. Some may dislike how

the problem got sort of solved without Spike – I get that, however dynamic between all the

characters shined through that fact and it ended up to be another enjoyable episode. I wasn’t

sure how much invested I will be in seeing Thorax and Ember, but both of them had quite enjyoable return. Both of them were fleshed out

really well here, and made better appearance than during their debuts.
