I did a thing over on tumblr where I listed off some of the AU ideas I had in mind for the future, and one I called the “Dragon!AU” seemed to have caught a bit of interest. So much so that I went ahead and did a couple of doodles of one of the main ships in it. You guessed it; RariTwi. Why??? Because I love the ship like my god. It needs more love dammit. :/

Aaaanyway the basic idea is that Twilight’s a monster slayer and Rarity’s a dragon, whom of which can take on a pony form as a disguise (as all dragons in this AU are able to do, though the disguise is not always pony). Twi’s contracted to kill a dragon and guess who that dragon is! C:<

I haven’t fleshed much out from this AU yet but these were so much fun to draw. This is probably the largest I’ve drawn Twilight aside from how I draw her for my Bodyguard!AU (the one that started all of this AU shenanigans I do). Buuuuuuuuuut whatever. v:
