It’s about time I posted a somewhat proper lineup for my newest AU endeavor, sooooo here it is! The lineup and the information for the Arranged Marriage!AU. And before anyone asks, no, I don’t write fanfictions of my AU because I’m not very good at actual writing in story format; what I’m good at is worldbuilding and making up a story, yes, but my strength in doing so is in visuals, not so much writing a piece of fic. Maybe one day though. :3But enough about that! Here’s the basic plot of the AU:In the midst of the threat of a world war, as well as their own inward unrest, Saddle Arabia and Equestria make it a point to demonstrate their alliance (amongst other things) by arranging a marriage between two of the leaders’ children. With Rarity being the oldest, she is of course chosen by the king, whereas the Emperor of Saddle Arabia instead chooses one of his youngest: Twilight Sparkle. The arrangement is nothing more than a political move for many reasons, but the girls try to make the best of their regardless.And the short summaries of the roles they play:Twilight is one of the youngest daughters of the Sphinx Emperor of Saddle Arabia, and she has been chosen to be the one to wed Rarity for the arranged marriage. Choosing Twi for the arrangement was met with mixed reaction, and that is because she is the illegitimate child of the Emperor. Regardless of her status, she was chosen to help establish a more stable relation with Equestria through her marriage with Rarity, but the road ahead is one full of obstacles and trials.Rarity is the Princess of Equestria, daughter of the King and Queen of Equestria in this AU and next in line for their throne (headsup, Celly and Lulu don’t rule Equestria in this AU). Unlike Twilight, who wasn’t quite given the choice in the matter of this arrangement, Rarity did, but she accepted mostly because she felt obligated to because of just how important the arrangement is for both countries.Rainbow Dash is a Kirin in this AU and, despite being a part of the Wonderbolts squadron in the Equestrian military, she often acts as the personal bodyguard to Rarity. She is already in a relationship with Applejack before the start of the AU.Applejack in this AU is a minotaur, as is the majority of her large family all across Equestria. Despite still being a farmer she often acts as the unofficial chef of sorts to the crown, being called upon a lot to cater food for many of their events. She’s good friends with Rarity and is already in a relationship with Dash.Pinkie Pie is a reindeer in this AU who’s thirst for adventure drove her to leave her home country to travel as much as she can all around the world. She had her money stolen in Equestria, however, which essentially got her stranded until she can make enough money to continue her travels again. She’s stayed for a few years now, but now moreso because she feels Equestria is her home than out of necessity.Fluttershy in this AU is a flutterpony (otherwise known as a pegafay), and she is the ambassador to her people for the Equestrian crown. Despite her shy demeanor still being present she isn’t someone to trifle with, and she takes her job as ambassador seriously.
