Artist’s notes:

Thus far Toots has shown herself to be a mostly-silent baby weirdo in a Jigglypuff suit. But when she’s conversing with her hero Scoot, you may find her quite the vocal little dreamer. And this chatterbox dreams big. Real big!

In case it isn’t immediately apparent to whose standards young Toots aspires…Mama is Lyra, Mami is BonBon, Memaw is Foto, “Auntie” Twilight is the one who performed the egg-splicing spell (and who was too soft-hearted to say no to Lyra’s insistence that she be the kid’s godmother), Tante Kuchen is Bon’s (and by extention Toots’s) moniker for Missus Cake, and Gramps and Papa are Concerto and Freddie H respectively. As for the perennially uppity Zesty, she was profoundly uncomfortable with being called Grandma, so Toots refers to her (very adorably) by her official title.
