blood. I pushed my mind and body and spirit to the zenith of plausibility and then pushed harder.

I didn’t care about power. I cared about you.

Perhaps I could forgive you for withholding your respect for me. Your accolades. Your love. But

once again to hear you refuse to bestow on me that which I have rightfully and undeniably earned?
