Detailed description:
In its canonical form a fusion diagram consists of three base characters
and seven drawings. Starting from the characters in three alternating
corners of a hexagon, the pairwise fusions of these characters are drawn
in the other three corners and the fusion of all three characters is
drawn in the centre. Including more characters is certainly possible but
then the connections become unwieldy to draw.
