Today, it is the 9th anniversary of what is perhaps Hasbro’s longest running show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Also in a few days, it will be the 8th anniversary of the Austrailian release date of Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure. But because I’m not online on the 13th or even the 14th or 16th which are the UK and US releases of the game (I managed to get Skylanders on its UK release), Might as well submit this now.

I got into both franchises during fall of 2011.

I would say this is my preparation for the series finale of MLP: FIM which is coming in two days but I saw a leak to it. But consider this as a fair well picture to a great franchise that helped me get interested in more female focused franchises like Star vs the Forces of Evil and Frozen.

Skylanders ain’t dead yet. There’s still the Ring of Heroes game, even though it has not been released in my country.
