His OC lamia drops into the girls while they were hanging out in the trees and she challenges them to see if they can resist her hypnosis. They were hestitant at first but they accept the challenge and it didn't take them long to fall into the trance. Then the lamia coils them up into cocoons and she let's them sleep while the other one is nearly close to slipping into a silent slumber.
