Voice actor: Kerry Washington (Olivia Pope (Scandal))The only child of couple Flash Sentry and Sunburst, Daisy "Sid" Sentry is a pony with the power to change others moods in seconds. Father being a powerful unicorn from a prestigious, mighty line, Sid inherited some of his magic. Growing up, Sid found out that if she smiled or flapped her wings the right way, ponies would become more easy to sway. Ranging from a teacher tweaking her tests from a D to an A, or a peer suddenly wanting to give them her lunch or let her copy their homework. Despite this, Sid was told to be careful with how she smiled or how she moved and learned about the dicey nature of the "Monkey's Paw". Her fathers didn't want her to use her affinity for wrong, and instead encouraged her to use them to bring happiness to others since what she did also lifted their moods.
With her dad being a military general who had to leave a lot she missed him dearly and sometimes lashed out. She was a know it all in school which grinded on some other students' nerves. As an adult mare, she is snarky and daring. She loves to fly and has striven to be the best since she was little. Adventure is in her blood and she is very athletic. The mare is now second in command from Rainbowdash in the Wonderbolts and is a part of the more flash parts of the team and the one to make the crowds go wild.
Her dads named her Daisy because she was so innocent and beautiful when she was born, and they wanted her to realize that she could change things for the best. Sid dislikes the name she was born with and opts for one she chose for herself.
Relationships:
Sunburst: The unicorn is someone that Sid wanted to be like when she was little. She thought he was so cool! With his magic tricks that'd he'd save only for her eyes. He actually tried helping her fly by levitating her upwards (though Flash Sentry told him she needed to learn to life herself off the ground) to keep her from crashing into the ground or any offending branches that got in her way. Protectiveness hit Sunburst like crazy when she was born and something innate stirred within his chest as he held her for the first time. He was not an aggressive stallion but if someone messed with his baby he will threateningly lowering his horn towards the you throat (with love, of course!)
He is a huge dork, bad at sports and can be kind of embarrassing ("UGH! Why does dad have to do that??") but Sid loves him and appreciates all that he did, and does for her.
Flash Sentry: Both her dads were the bee's knees to her, to be honest. Flash was climbing the ranks when she was born and many ponies knew of him. Sid liked having a dad that sort of famous and was actually in some pony books - he was like a superhero! Flash was actually the dad Sid went to for personal problems - he usually kept his head cool when she told him something and made sure not to panic around her. Being a father seemed to come naturally to the soldier and it didn’t for Sunburst. He was patient with his husband and helped him how to raise their daughter together. Him and his daughter look a lot alike.
Rainbowdash: Rainbowdash taught Sid all she knows in terms of flying. She is the “mom” she never had. Though the blue pegasus was kind of a hard ass towards her, she did it with her success in mind and knew Sid wanted it. Dash has a soft spot for the younger mare and even loves her like a daughter but is hard to admit it.
Johnny Gold: They are friends but not many know how their relationship really is. Are they casual friends? Lovers? In reality Johnny was the one who bit Sid and gave her vamponyism. Due to this she hated the earth pony. All the changes to her body, mind and world almost drove her crazy and she tried dealing with it herself...along with puberty it was the worse. Flash Sentry was away and Sunburst sure didn’t notice, even though her canines grew and sharpened. Sid did bite her pride a while later, asking Johnny for help and they ended up bonding over this. Getting over her dislike for the earth pony was hard at first but she needed him and knew they were just kids at the time that he bit her. As adults they are seen together a lot.
Lucky Star: The eldest child of Rainbowdash and Derpy Hooves, Lucky is Sid’s best mare friend. Since Rainbowdash has trained Sid since she was an older teen it wasn’t uncommon for her to see Rainbow’s daughter and son all the time. The girls hit it off almost right away. They are both confident, young mares with amazing parents and lucrative careers and have many things in common. Lucky is very loyal and would die for Sid, and Sid for her.
Some of you wanted to see what Sunbrust and Sentry's girl looked like and here she is! She actually used to be an adopt for when I was here last time that I made and was the daughter of Sunbrust and Soarin'. Decided to change her up a bit. Yes...I know. A lot of yellow-ish next gens rn but that will definitely change as time goes on. A lot of the ships I have had yellow toned parents being together lol.
