So... I generally don't scale up a sketch, unless the sketch has both a good pose, and a clear idea of the details.
I decided to scale this one up anyway...

I have two shades of blue pencil (the faint lines you see in the greyscale) the lighter of the two is for proportions and rough outline, the darker for details.
I generally don't put in the hard dark line unless I have a clearly drawn blue line version...
I decided to put in the dark line anyway...

It turned out fine, better than I expected in fact when I was drawing in the dark line. It's less shy than the sketch, and more presenting herself as a present.
The ribbons are either lacking or a little messier than I wanted, the one on her back especially, and I feel there needs to be more on her arms and legs.
But, the pose turned out better than I thought it would, as well as some details. So, going forward with this surprisingly successful drawing.

If you think this is it for Xmas, nope, I want to do at least two more, if not a third, and maybe even get them all inked and colored by the end of the year.
All depends on my personal life, but so far so good.
