Once again, the mission was at a standstill.

Velvet Shade was so close to breaking through. He and his best friend Moonstone had found tons of information over the years—about his father, about the world he was from, about his origins. As of recently, they had even managed to build a portal. But they needed a special spell to activate it…a spell they didn’t know. Without it, their entire plan was futile. And after over a month of searching, Velvet was losing hope.

”Velvet!” Moonstone’s voice rang out from behind him. “I think I found something!”

”Hm?” Velvet swung around to face Moonstone, who had a book open in front of her. “What is it?”

Moonstone picked up the book, which was revealed to be an ancient book of spells. She had a wide grin on her face.

”Pack your bags, Velvet, because we’re going to see your father!”
