One of the climactic scenes of my Scootaloo fanfic. Having spent years of her life training to fly with Rainbow Dash she is forced to put her skills to the ultimate test. A dragon had it’s egg stolen, and believes that a pony took it, so it’s coming to burn down Ponyville to get it back.

Scootaloo won’t stand for that, and puts her life on the line to distract the dragon and keep it occupied until the town can be evacuated. She is beyond fear. Her only thoughts are on keeping everyone she loves safe, and to be a hero like her idol Rainbow Dash.
