Drawn for the fourteenth anniversary of MLP:FiM. My first idea was to draw her riding a lunar rover or her meeting with that very lunar rover. But it turned out that I am not the first here for a long time, there is already art where she is riding this device. So I started going through the options in my head and remembered one cartoon series, Wakfu. And there was an antagonist from the second season, Qilby. According to the plot, he was a representative of the same race as the main character and he betrayed their race for which he was banished to the dimension of emptiness. And the way it was shown in the series I will remember forever. The pose and emotions were incomparable. Then, watching MLP, I caught myself thinking that Luna in her fate is a little similar to Qilby. Only Luna did not go crazy, but wanted to get out of the shadow of her older sister and for this she was exiled to the Moon for a thousand years.
