First in a series on the changeling hives.

The Blue Changelings were the first to be revealed to the citizens of Equestria, and in the worst possible way. This hive, led by Queen Chrysalis, specializes in subterfuge, information-gathering, and research, and their members on average have a lower regard for ponies than any other hive, probably due to the influence of their queen. While there are significant exceptions, most of these changelings see ponies as little more than food sources. Some say that because they have so little love for others, their need for it is greater than for any of the other hives.
