For the first time, see the complete stages of life for the Fluffy Mane 6, beginning with their birth forms: Eggs (Didn't see that coming).
Fluffy Origins:
Although many believe Fluffy Ponies (AKA Fluffies) to be living toys sold by multi-national corporations, their true story is far more magical: Mysterious creatures, Fluffy Ponies were created from a sickly child's wish on a falling star. When the star hit the earth (Fluffy Ponies do, in fact, live on Earth and not in Equestria for the time being), it held within its core several different kinds of eggs. People found and extracted the eggs, only for them to hatch and reveal different species of strange and fluffy creatures made in the likeness of My Little Pony's characters. The first recorded Fluffies were Pinkies (a species of silly, energetic Ponies) and The Sisters (Marble AKA Mawboe and Limestone AKA Limey, who are also Ponies), Twilight Fluffies (a larger species of more intelligent Fluffy Unicorn), Fluffyshies (a highly delicate, adorably big-headed species of Fluffy Pegasus), Fluffyjacks (a cowboy-influenced species of Ponies), Rarities (a smaller species of shiny thing-loving Fluffy Unicorn), and Rainbow Fluffies (a more athletic species of Fluffy Unicorn). Several unidentified species were present, but their designations are not yet known to the public. Seeing them as harmless and cute, Fluffy Ponies were introduced into the world as domestic pets.
Unique Traits:
Fluffy Ponies are easily identified due to their full-body fur, unique manes, ability to speak and interact with humans, love of spaghetti (AKA sketties), and personalities. Although members of certain species share common traits, they are all unique in behavior. Some are believed to possess magical powers.
Twilight Fluffy: Though one of the smaller babies, Twilight Fluffies grow to be one of the largest species of Fluffy Ponies. They are generally more intelligent, logical, clever, and organized than other Fluffy Ponies, though they are still highly limited when it comes to caring for themselves and avoiding problems. Fully capable of reading lower-level books, Twilight Fluffy is a kind, lovable addition to any family and a charming lab assistant.
Fluffyshy: Born highly delicate and in near-immediate need of warmth and care despite their fluff, Fluffyshy are sweet, kind, timid, easily frightened Fluffy Ponies that love animals and all other Fluffies. They are capable of flight later in life and are somewhat prone to becoming overweight. Soft and the most needing of all Fluffy Ponies, Fluffyshy make for adorable, sweet little family members that will lighten the life of anyone around them.
Pinkie: One of the largest and most vocal of all babies, Fluffy Pinkies are the smallest species of Fluffy Pony upon adulthood and known for their very high-pitched voices. Silly, youthful, highly energetic, craving of sugar, and somewhat lacking in common sense, Pinkies are a lovable chaotic companion that will keep any family entertained and on their toes.
Sisters: Loving companions to one another as well as their Pinkie sisters, Limestone and Marble Fluffies are sweet, calm, and polite. They appear to be slightly older than Pinkie, though they are all born at the same time. However, not every Pinkie is born with Sisters.
Fluffyjack: Known for their great love of apples, Fluffyjack Ponies are born with incredibly fluffy fur and are quadrupeds for most of their early years. One of the larger species of Fluffies, Fluffyjack Ponies speak with Southern accents and naturally know Southern slang, lasso tricks, and hospitality. They are seemingly born with cowboy hats, a small apple to snack on upon hatching, and occasionally a lasso rope. Fluffyjack will make a sweet, honest, and hard-working addition to any family.
Rarity: Incredibly small as babies, Rarity Fluffies hatch from their eggs in a blue crystal-like shell that partially cracks to reveal their faces. As they grow, Fluffy Rarities are able to leave their crystals, which then repair themselves and are often held and carried by Rarities later in life. Rarities love gems and anything shiny, take great interest in fashion and manners, and are the slimmest and some of the smallest Fluffy Ponies. A Fluffy Rarity is the ultimate companion for girly girls and members of high society (as long as they make good or fancy spaghetti on a regular basis)
Rainbow Fluffy: One of the smallest babies, Rainbow Fluffies remain quadrupeds their entire lives, though they are fully capable of high-speed flight at early adulthood. Loyal, fast, competitive, and good sports, these sweet yet cocky Fluffies are hard to control, but will always return and love their parents and families. They are considered "20% cooler" than most other species.
Basic Needs and Considerations:
-All: It is not enough to be the owner of a Fluffy Pony. Fluffies need a mother and/or father to care for them and love them at all times. All Fluffy Ponies require at least 3 healthy meals a day, a Safe Room or Safe Play Room with padded and colorful walls filled with fun and safe activities, regular hugs, kisses, regular grooming, and cuddles, medical treatment and care, and, most of all, love and affection.
-As Babies/Yearlings:
Twilight and Pinkie Fluffies require diapers during their baby years (for obvious reasons). Twilight can be potty trained easier than Pinkie, but until they have matured enough, both require diapers.
Fluffyshy require constant attention and swaddling. They cannot be left alone for any period of time without proper warmth and occasional supervision as they are highly sensitive to the cold and dangers. They must spend most of their time carefully but firmly wrapped in blankets.
All Fluffy Pony babies need to be changed, washed, fed, burped, watched, loved, supervised, entertained, calmed, and coddled, especially in their early days. They are entirely reliant on their mother and father (called Mummy and Daddy for most Fluffy Ponies)
-As Adults:
All Fluffy Pony adults require the love, protection, care, and respect of their parents. This is the single most important thing for any Fluffy Pony. In addition, Fluffies must also be taught right from wrong consistently. They must know boundaries, limitations, and proper interaction with humans and other Fluffy Ponies
Care for Injuries and Sickness:
NOTE: Although, by adulthood, Fluffy Ponies' fur is thick enough to protect them from most falls and impacts, they require extra care and mindful handling as they can still be frail.
All Fluffy Ponies are prone to bodily wounds and must be taken to the vet or human doctor upon injury. Their bones, teeth, and hooves are softer than those of regular Ponies, making treatment and care a top priority.
Becoming overweight can be a problem for most Fluffy Ponies. Although they love sweets and pasta, it is important to teach them moderation and healthy dietary habits. Becoming overweight can be very bad for a Fluffy's health and development. However, it is possible to rehabilitate an overweight or even obese Fluffy Pony and return them to full health if treated soon enough.
Fluffy Ponies are capable of contracting the common cold, which can result in "The Sniffles" (this is dangerous for Fluffies as they rely on their snouts to breathe and have a habit of wiping their snouts on their fur, which can cause matting), fevers, and weakness. These conditions require immediate care and attention (namely warm soup or faux-chicken noodle spaghetti and "yummy-tasting" Fluffy medicine). Fluffy Ponies cannot catch colds or diseases from their parents.
Fluffy Pony Lingo:
Due to their childlike nature, most Fluffy Ponies cannot pronounce "R" or "L" sounds in most cases. They also struggle with "big words" and will often use shortened or simplified versions. In addition, most Fluffies don't use pronouns, choosing to refer to themselves and others by name at all times. Rather than saying, "I love reading complex novels", Twilight would say, "Twiwight wuv weading big, tough books. Yay!"
Fluffy Ponies are also very expressive in their speech, making it easy to tell if they are happy, sad, angry, scared, or confused.
Size:
Fluffy Ponies tend to be rather small. The largest Fluffy Ponies (with the exception of the rare King Fluffy (more on him another time)) is about the size of a house cat. Most are just big enough to cuddle with. This does not account for the rare Smarty Fluffy Ponies.
The Great Exodus
Led by Twilight Fluffy, Fluffyshy, and Fluffy Pinkie to save Smarty Pinkie from the cruelty of the unkind mother and father she escaped on Earth. The Exodus to Equestria was rekindled years later by all Fluffy Ponies. More on this another time.
