Infectious forest

The story behind this one, was;
This Pegasus was exploring the everfree forest, and had somehow ended up getting lost.
While they were exploring, they found a plant that she had never seen before.
This plant, unbeknownst to her, had a defense mechanism whenever predators came too close.
That mechanism, was to spray a painful chemical into the predator's face, to prevent them from eating the plant, as the plant itself is also poisonous.
The chemical landed in the Pegasus' eyes and mouth, and began to affect the Pegasus slowly.
As she ran away, she noticed her movements becoming stiffer, more painful.
She decided to stop and look down at herself, and realized, she had plants growing out of her hooves.
She tried to fly away, but her wings had already been affected as well, as vines began to grow along the joints, rendering them useless.
All she could do was stand there i agony as the plants continued to mature inside of her flesh.
Soon enough, she had become one, giant ecosystem for these plants, as well as insects, birds and other small critters as they came to nest within her branches and roots. And all she could do was stand there.
