“Nothin’. Just wanted to see what you’re up to. Dusty and Champ wanted to go to Sugarcube Corner for some sundaes. Wanna come along?”
“I’ll pass, thank you, Harmony.”
“Ugh. You’re not even doing anything fun. You’re just reading ANOTHER book. What’s this one even about anyway?”
“What the – hey! Return my book at once, Harmony!”
“The Rarest Gems and Minerals of Eastern Equestria. Dude, your mom wrote this. I’m sure you’ve gone through this one before.”
“And what of it if I have? Besides, you know I hate candy.”
“First off, Buster Brown, sundaes aren’t candy. Secondly, ask your mom to make you a sandwich or something, that’s what she does anyway.”
“Of course, and I’ll be delighted when she sneaks a bar of chocolate into the peanut butter. Again.”
“How did that NOT taste amazing?! Great Celestia, you’re blind…”
“Give me back my glasses. And Mother insists its an ‘acquired taste.’ Eee-ych.”
“Awe. If you get more chocolate I’ll eat it for you. Come on, Rocky, don’t be a stick-in-the-mud. We wanna have you come along.”
“If I say yes, will you return my glasses?”
“Maybe.”
[*sigh*] “Infuriating creature.
Holy hell I love these two. Rock “Rocky” Candy and Harmonic “Harmony” Chord are the Cheesepie and Fluttercord children, respectively, of NextGenverse. And I utterly love these characters, especially the interaction between these two. This artist is fantastic and has such a rich universe that it sucks you right in. I highly reccomend taking a look at her work! (while I get my own verse slapped together haha) I hope you like this Pastel. I loved working around with these guys.
