Kalon is able to use his magic to transform into a dragon. He would do

that mostly for himself or to scare ponies who annoy him. He has some pyromaniac tendencies, and loves using his dragonfire for everything (it can be used as a magical tool as well as just burn things).

He almost never changes expressions from his default bored/tired expression, and is incredibly resilient and patient. But if he gets really ticked off, he goes all the way in expressing his true feelings.

He disguises himself in pony form when he’s in the city. He thinks it’s a hassle, but he doesn’t like getting stares so if he does go out it’s usually at night or when there are few ponies around. He researches and works on literary projects to improve himself. He studies ponies to better understand them, but he doesn’t like being among them.
