While Mako was out Making New Friends, Bubble Lee makes her way to to his house. By this point in their relationship, she tries to stop by and visit her coltfriend every chance she can get. Any chance to get away from her nosey parents.
Bubble: opens the door and lets herself in Hey Mako! Are you home? I was hoping we could— she stops, seeing a little brown mare with dragon wings sitting on Mako’s couch, a glistening ring on her left ring finger … uh…
???: looks up and raises and eyebrow, her green eyes looking Bubble up and down … Yes, can I help you?
Bubble: I was just….. Uh… I’m sorry but I don’t believe we met…. as if asking for her name
???: ear twitch, her eyes not leaving Bubble for a moment Lady, I’m Mako’s sister… And you are?
Bubble: ears perk, recalling Mako once mentioning that he had a sister Oh! I’m Bubble Lee, Mako’s marefriend. It’s a pleasure to finally get to meet you.
Lady: … I see. smiles sweetly Mako just had a few errands to run, but he’ll be back shortly. Perhaps we can use this time to… get acquainted.
Bubble: smiles back That would be nice. pauses before joining Lady on the couch. Despite Lady appearing calm and pleasant, something about her eyes were… unsettling.
Lady: puts a bookmark in place as she sets her book down on the coffee table So, how long have you and Mako known each other?
Bubble: Only for a couple of weeks, but seems so much longer. Time flies, after all. make eye contact with Lady for a moment before glancing away, getting a little unnerved..
Lady: That’s nice. Time really does fly when in a relationship. holds up her hand, showing her ring In fact, I’ve recently gotten engaged!
Bubble: ears perk Oooh! Congratulations! What a beautiful ring, your fiancé has good taste~
Lady: Thank you. straightens her glasses So what do you do for a living, Miss Lee?
Bubble: Oh.. I don’t work. I’m currently enrolled at college. I’ll be starting my last semester this fall, but hopefully by the end of it I’ll be able to find a good paying job.”
Lady: That sounds nice. looking Bubble over from horn to hoof
Bubble: rubs the back of her neck, feeling her fur standing on end So.. umm… Miss Lady, you mentioned that you are Mako’s sister? He doesn’t much about his family but I… uh.. noticed you don’t look very similar. How exactly are you related?
Lady: sweetly smiles Yes, I can see why it would look odd, him being an orca pony, and I a dragon pony…. her eyes tensing ever so slightly It’s a long story but let’s just say we’ve been very close ever since we were little.
Bubble: I see..
Lady: in a low, edgy tone Speaking of my brother gives a sharp glare, that pierces through Bubble, growling lowly Don’t hurt him.
Bubble: tenses, startled by the sudden personality change E-excuse me?
Lady: stands and gets a bit closer to Bubble As strong and as calm Mako may appear, he opens his heart too freely… leans in, her face inches from Bubble’s, her pupils only tiny slits .. Which ultimately led to his first “marefriend” leading him on, and had him beaten to near death for his mixed nature..
Bubble: freezes like a dear in headlights, leaning back from Lady’s looming glare, stuttering D-d-death?!
Lady: eyes narrow I’ll be plain and blunt here: I don’t trust you.
Bubble: swallows nervously, her ear giving a twitch …..
Lady: After what happened, a part of him changed and I’ll be DAMNED if I let another break his heart! the whites of her eyes turned black as night, her green eyes glowing with venomous rage. Her large draconic wings spread open wide as she loomed over Bubble So if I hear you hurt Mako and break his heart, there WILL be consequences…. Do I make myself clear, Miss Lee?
Bubble: cowers and whimpers, her eyes wide and filled with paralyzing fear, like prey against a predator. She’d squeak out through trembling lips Y-yes ‘mam!
Lady: instantaneously her mannerisms changed to sweet and kind, smiling cheerfully Wonderful~! as she walks over to the kitchen as a tea kettle started whistling Would you like some tea, dear? I was heating up the water before you came.
Bubble: ……….. blinks, confused and still spooked T-Tea? umm….. sure? as she exhaled slowly, realizing she was holding her breath the entire time
After brewing and receiving her tea, the two mares would spend the rest of the visit sitting in complete silence, with the exception of the sounds of sipping tea and munching on cookies. After what felt like a lifetime, the front door would open slowly and shut with a bit of a slam. Entering into the house was Mako, dripping wet and covered from head to tail fin with little red welts. His face would make it seem like he just went through an ordeal.
Lady: ….What uh…. What’s with the hickeys…?
Bubble: glances over, her eye giving a twitch
Mako: shakes his head I don’t want to talk about it… shivers
Bubble: sips her tea, confirming her suspicion Octopus pony. They are a clingy bunch. Having growing up knowing an Octopony, she has personal experience
Mako: rubbing his arms It was so sucky, and squeezy, and- shivers
Lady: But you’ve been around squids before.
Mako: That was different, I was trying to eat it…! whimpers….. but then smiles But I can see you and Bubble have been acquainted. I bet you two had a nice visit, I felt you’d really hit it off.
Lady: Yes, we had just a splendid time connecting. turns and smiles at Bubble Didn’t we, Miss Lee.
Bubble: pauses, sipping her tea to compose herself before putting on her best smile Yes, of course. thinking on the inside “This mare is bat-shit crazy!”
Mako: smiles widely That’s great to hear! Now uh… if you don’t mind waiting a little longer, I’d like to shower real quick. looks down and pokes a particularly red mark on his chest, wincing I hope that doesn’t leave a mark….
Bubble: gets up and goes to Mako, gently rubbing his chest as she checks the hickey-like marks Try putting an ice pack on them to stop the swelling. And Peppermint if you have any.. like toothpaste.
Lady: raises an eyebrow, giving a judging skeptical glare Toothpaste?
Bubble: tenses slightly, as she turned her head slightly to face Lady, but dare not look her in the eye Y-yeah, peppermint is a stimulant that can help improve blood circulation, and hence it is very useful in treating.. uh…. hickeys. It can also heal the capillary vessels.
Lady: You seem pretty knowledgeable on these sorts of things… her voice hinting that she’s insinuating something
Bubble: cheeks turn a little pink as she turns away sharply The things you learn at college, heheh… heh….. Emoticon 15
Mako: ear twitches, gently rubbing Bubble’s arm … Are you okay?
Bubble: Uh-huh! Never better! strained smile
Mako: gives a questioning look Hmm.. Sorry for not letting you know Lady was going to be here, it was kind of last minute. rubbing the back of his head We were going to spend the day catching up, but you can stay if you like!
Bubble: ear twitches, feeling Lady’s eyes staring into the back of her head As much as I would love too, I would hate to take away your time from your charming sister. I’ll probably be at Margarite’s if you need me…. turns slightly and smiles at Lady It was… nice meeting you, Miss Lady.
Lady: nods It was a pleasure to meet you too, dear. her ear giving a twitch again
Mako: keeps a smile, but was hoping she would stay Okay, I’ll come by when I can. kisses Bubble gently
Bubble: kisses back rather tensely, feeling Lady’s glares growing, the hairs on the back of her neck standing on end
Mako: pulls away and smiles before turning to his sister Lady, I can’t wait to show you my shop. beckoning her to come with him
As the two of them head in that direction, Lady would give Bubble a sideways glance and a low threatening growl. Bubble would jump and give a small audible squeak as she darted out the front door, tail between her legs. Without looking back, Bubble would head straight to Margarite’s bar, slumping into on of the seats and promptly face-planting hard on the counter.
Margarite: hears the thud on the counter and turns to see Bubble ? goes to Bubble and gently rubs her back You okay? Feeling sick?
Bubble: raises her head and gives Margarite the most god awful look ….. I need a drink… What’s the strongest you got…?

Hahahaha! That was fun! Poor Bubble, no worries guys, she’ll be okay. This will soon turn into a hilarious memory Bubble and Lady will look back on, as they do end up being good friends. But every relationship has some rocky moments XD Thank you so much :iconblackblood-queen: for helping me with dialogue.
